First Blog Ever

Wow! This is my first personal blog article ever, i am very excited about this as ive been playing with the idea of starting my own blog for a while now.

I will ensue this new blog-writing career of mine with a poem i wrote back in March 2001.

Originally i wrote it in Hebrew and later i have translated it to English, as can be expected the English version may lose some of the original flavor together with the Rhyming and other subtle meanings which cannot be transferred from one language to another but hopefully the essence is still there.

So without further ado:

~ (Night Talk) The Light of a New Sunrise ~

Stay!

Spend a night of passion with me
all around us small lights glitter
On the bare bed it is love we find
Stay and for the light of the next day wait with me.

I Can’t!

Can’t or won’t? scared or hopeful?
and of what? a love that passed, is over?
and of who? a man that doesn’t feel you?
tomorrow, will you tell him it is done?

The future scares me!

Do not let it trouble your mind
As I will love you forever
And cover you with warmth and protection
stay and we will watch together the new sunrise.

And what after the sun is up?

Together we will live a new life,
for every minute I wait
our hearts tied by a string of great emotion
look forward and not to the past.

Stay!

I will stay! As one night is not enough
and I wish to hold a part of your light
I am not afraid to discover love with you anymore.
I’ll stay and together we will watch the light of a new sunrise…

~ (שיחה לילית) לאורה של זריחה חדשה ~

הישארי!

לילה נפלא של תשוקה תבלי עמי
ומסביבנו אורות קטנים מרצדים
על המיטה החשופה אהבה אנו מגלים
הישארי ועד אורו של היום הבא איתי חכי.

אינני יכולה!

יכולה או רוצה? פוחדת או מקווה?
וממה, אהבה שעבר זמנה, שנגמרה.
וממי, מאיש שאותך כבר אינו מרגיש.
ממחר, האם תוכלי להגיד לו שנגמר?

העתיד אותי מפחיד.

שפחד את מחשבותיך לא יטריד
מפני שאותך אוהב תמיד
ואני אפרוש מעליך שמיכה של חום והגנה
הישארי איתי ונצפה יחדיו בזריחה חדשה.

ומה אחרי שהשמש תעלה?

שנינו ביחד את חיינו החדשים נחייה
לכל דקה שתבוא אני מחכה
לבבותינו קשורים בחוט דק של רגש גדול
קדימה הפני את עינייך ולא לאתמול.

הישארי!

אשאר! מפני שלילה אחד אינו מספיק בשבילי
ומאורך הפנימי רוצה אני חלק לעצמי
יותר אינני פוחדת איתך לגלות אהבה
אשאר, ונצפה יחדיו בזריחה חדשה…
